Last Day for Core Concentration!
Today is the last day to register for August’s Beautiful YOU! Core Concentration online program!
I will be getting September’s information in the T-Tapp store next week, hopefully! I’ll also be sharing here on my blog. Trying to get all my balls back in the air after a busy July! 😉 Need to practice my juggling!

Why the Core?
I’m sooo excited about my new online program, Beautiful YOU! Core Concentration!
But why is the core so important?
As I stated in an earlier post, between my experience as a T-Tapper for 6 1/2 years and a T-Tapp trainer for 1 1/2 years, I’ve learned that the core is really crucial for results in T-Tapp. Not just inch loss (great as that is!), but also for better health.
Every component of the T-Tapp stance is as important–no, more important–than the rest of the workout. If you don’t set up properly, then you won’t get max activation from the moves in the workout! I have learned for myself and for my clients to focus on that core. In clinics and classes I have been known to take 45 minutes for curling the core and Primary Back Stretch alone! 😉
I watched my own body reshape in amazing ways (after 10 term deliveries, last one being a c-section!) by focusing on the core when I was a trainer-in-training. I’ve had clients who focused on their core and lost inches or reshaped in all the right places. So I know this is a key to success with T-Tapp!
In Beautiful YOU! we are going to focus on core through several moves in the chosen workouts for the month and really slow things down to get to the core in each and every one. I’m convinced that if we don’t “get” that, we might still get results, but we won’t get optimal results.
Activating the core not only helps reshape the rib to hip section, but it also helps boost the metabolism, improve posture, and by getting into proper alignment, helps the body function better overall. Even our mood can be affected by how we activate our core–no kidding! 🙂
Perhaps you’re not sure you want to commit to a month of doing just 2 workouts for a month. I have 6 schedule options, including a few for those who have adrenal or health issues, so you have variety! Or you just can’t swing it financially right now. That’s fine! Beautiful YOU! is a monthly program–we will focus on the core through different workouts each month. You can always join later!
But what about for now? Well, how about something for FREE?!
I post trainer Michelle Barbuto’s fabulous Curl Your Core tips all over the T-Tapp forums–and I will be using them in my Beautiful YOU! program as well! Of course I’m going to be taking them apart and doing some intensive focus with those doing the program, but you can read them on the forums and practice them yourself at home–for free!

Print those out and practice them often! I advise every day for a few weeks, then before your workouts. Then you can back off a bit, but revisit them. Often!

And if you think “just” curling your core isn’t enough–well, Rita, one of my clients in the Foundations for Fitness online class didn’t think it would be, either. But since last fall, by mainly focusing on curling her core (in the midst of adrenal fatigue and lots of stress), she has lost several inches off her waist! She has lost about 3 sizes “just” curling her core!
Then Chi, a former soldier-now-turned-Mommy, focused on her core for several months. When she returned to regular workouts, she lost inches in all the right places, reshaping, continuing to focus on her core and now is in better shape than she was when in the Army!
Whether adrenal-fatigued mama or former Army soldier (and anyone in between)–EVERYONE can benefit from some core focus!

I have placed a donation button on the sidebar for a T-Tapper who has been in my Foundations for Fitness online class. On Friday July 12 her home, which was a historical landmark over 100 years old, burned to the ground in 45 minutes. They have lost everything. Thankfully she, her husband and 4 sons are okay! Three of her sons have autism to varying degrees, so she has a LOT on her plate. Any donations are appreciated, and please keep them in your prayers as they start the long journey of putting their lives back together after this tragic loss.

Beautiful to the Core!
In my experience as a T-Tapper and a T-Tapp trainer, I am finding that we can get so focused on losing a size, getting all the way through a workout, or adding target moves that we lose the very foundation of T-Tapp–our core.
(Back to Basics for) Beautiful YOU! Core Concentration is a new monthly program that will take us back to the basics of the core. Core concentration is the foundational key to long term results!
Our core thoughts and beliefs also shape us inside and out–yes, I mean literally on the outside! Our thoughts can either encourage us or sabotage us, especially as we make changes for healthier, better living.
Beautiful YOU! Core Concentration program will focus on both the physical and emotional/mental “core” to help us bring out our best and be truly beautiful–inside and out!
Each month all participants will do the same 2-3 workouts, with special emphasis on the core throughout. August’s workouts are MORE 2 and the new Broom 2!
What’s included for August?
*SIX schedules based on MORE 2 and Broom 2–two for those with adrenal/health challenges.
*A private support group where you can ask questions, where I will share “core” tips and helpful links on skin care, adrenal health, healthy eating, and more.

Step Right Up to a GREAT Deep Discount Tuesday!
This month’s Deep Discount Tuesday is a great deal on the Step Away Super Set!
First is Step Away the Inches–a 25 minute indoor walking workout, core cardio that is the equivalent of a brisk 2 mile walk!

Celebrate with a Birthday Giveaway!
I celebrated my birthday on Monday, but to celebrate with you–I want to give YOU a free copy of the new Broom 2 dvd!
Broom 2 was filmed at last year’s annual T-Tapp Retreat. It has many elements of the original Broom dvd, but there is no instruction and it’s only 13 minutes long. Perfect when you want a broom workout on a time-crunched day!
Teresa still has a little warming up where she goes over a few of the basics, including stepping the T-Tapp way (including 3 good reason to keep those toes STRAIGHT!). Just the first 2 minutes of mini-instruction is worth the price of the dvd! (Which is very reasonably priced, by the way!)
After the little stepping instruction/warm-up, Teresa gives a few minutes of instruction using the broom to enhance body alignment–you will find your lats with this workout! 😉
Then she puts it together–you might think, “Wait a minute! If the warming up portion is around 5 minutes, then we’re really only stepping with the broom for about 8 minutes! How effective can that be?!”

The first time I did Broom 2, I was surprised at the amount of cardio this little powerhouse delivered! Yet, as one with adrenal challenges, it wasn’t too much to zap me! I actually felt really good–like I’d worked out, to be sure, but energized. And I didn’t need a nap! 🙂 Teresa does a great job of bringing the heart rate up and back down, kicking out inflammation and lactic acid build-up. Towards the end she slows the pace to bring the heart rate down before finishing.
Added to all that–it is reasonably priced at $19.95!
I can see this workout becoming a staple in my schedule rotation!
